Day 1 Saturday – Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your Memphis Tours representative will meet and assist you through arrival procedures before escorting you by private deluxe vehicle to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence. -
Day 2 Sunday – Giza Pyramids & Saqqara
After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist for an inspiring introduction to ancient Egypt. Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, the timeless Sphinx and the Valley Temple, followed by lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant. -
Day 3 Monday – Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, discover the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) with your private Egyptologist. Explore its extraordinary collection spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun, before enjoying lunch at a quality local restaurant. -
Day 4 Tuesday – Fly to Luxor | Embark Oberoi Zahra
After breakfast, transfer privately to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to the Oberoi Zahra Luxury Nile Cruiser, where your seven-night Nile cruise Cairo to Aswan journey begins. -
Day 5 Wednesday – Valley of the Kings & Dendera
Begin the day on Luxor's legendary West Bank, exploring the Valley of the Kings, Medinat Habu and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the Oberoi Zahra before sailing to Qena (noon time) to visit the Temple of Dendera, dedicated to Hathor, Goddess. -
Day 6 Thursday – Luxor's Hidden Treasures.
Continue your exploration of ancient Thebes with some of Luxor's more intimate archaeological treasures. Visit the Valley of the Nobles, Deir El Medina and the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After lunch on board, visit Luxor Temple in the late afternoon. -
Day 7 Friday – Sail to Edfu
Enjoy a leisurely morning sailing south through the timeless landscapes of Upper Egypt. After lunch, step ashore to visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the finest surviving temples of the ancient world. -
Day 8 Saturday – Sail to Aswan | High Dam & Philae Temple
Sail south toward Aswan, enjoying breakfast and the changing scenery of the Nile. After lunch, explore the Aswan High Dam before continuing by boat to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to the Oberoi Zahra for tea and an elegant evening aboard. -
Day 9 Sunday – Kom Ombo & Aswan
Sail to Kom Ombo and visit its remarkable twin temple overlooking the Nile, dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing back to Aswan for lunch aboard. -
Day 10 Monday – Aswan at Leisure | Optional Abu Simbel
Enjoy a leisurely final full day aboard the Oberoi Zahra, with time to appreciate the vessel's refined surroundings and the tranquil landscapes of Aswan. For those wishing to explore further, an optional journey to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel can be arranged. -
Day 11 Tuesday – Aswan to Cairo | Islamic Cairo & Khan El Khalili
After breakfast, disembark the Oberoi Zahra and transfer privately to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo, closing the Nile cruise Cairo circuit. -
Day 12 Wednesday – Final Departure
