Day 1 Salta
Welcome to Salta, the colonial heart of Argentina’s northwest and the starting point of your private Salta tour! Our local team will meet you at the airport and take you by private vehicle to your 5-star hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and rest before the adventure begins. -
Day 2 Salta – Cafayate
After breakfast, we head south through the Lerma Valley and into the spectacular Quebrada de las Conchas—83 kilometres of rock formations sculpted by wind and water over millennia, including the Amphitheater, the Devil's Throat, the Obelisk, and the Tres Cruces viewpoint. -
Day 3 Cafayate – Salta
A relaxed day to soak up beautiful Cafayate, with your driver on hand whenever you need him. We'll head back to Salta at the right time to continue the journey. Overnight in Salta. -
Day 4 Salta – Cachi
After breakfast, we set off on one of the region's most jaw-dropping drives—up the winding Cuesta del Obispo, through the cactus-studded Los Cardones National Park, and along the arrow-straight Recta del Tin Tin. -
Day 5 Salta – Purmamarca
Breakfast, then off to Purmamarca, home to the unforgettable Hill of Seven Colours. Wander the little streets and craft stalls before climbing the dramatic Cuesta de Lipán to the vast, otherworldly Salinas Grandes—21,000 hectares of dazzling white salt flats dotted with natural lagoons. -
Day 6 Purmamarca – Salta
Today belongs to the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage valley where colourful hills, colonial chapels, and warm-hearted people come together in perfect harmony. We'll stop in Tilcara, Huacalera, Uquía, and Humahuaca, each with its own unique character, before returning to Salta. -
Day 7 Salta – Finca Lesser
Just minutes from the city, saddle up for a two-hour horseback ride through hills, rivers, and forests to panoramic views over the Lerma Valley. Afterwards, enjoy a three-course lunch of regional flavours with a wine tasting and live folk music that captures the soul of the northwest. -
Day 8 Salta
After breakfast, we'll pick you up at the right time for your airport transfer. End of your Private Salta Tours—until next time Meals: Breakfast
